The central Bank of Oman announces the termination and withdrawal the certain banknotes from circulation within a maximum period of 360 days, starting from January 2024.

In addition, all the banks operating in Oman as well as the financial institutions and retailers are directed to accept these banknotes from the public whenever presented.
